BiTmaP – Bioinformatics Training Certificate Program

BiTmaP

BiTmaP was created as an online bioinformatics training program initiated by the Chicago Technology Park (CTP) and conducted through the Bioengineering Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). BiTmaP’s goal has been to provide bioinformatics skills and employment opportunities for IT professionals in the Midwest to meet the growing bioinformatics needs in our industry and academic institutions.

BiTmaP provided training to unemployed or underemployed information technologists and moves them to successful new careers in bioinformatics. BiTmaP also provided training that assisted bioinformatics workers seeking promotions in their current workplace. On-line training delivery enables qualified candidates from all over the Nation to participate.

Participants of the BiTmaP program:
